The nice thing about a day is you have 24 hours and then you get a hard reset the next morning, and technology affords us the same you can rewrite a hard drive, wipe the memory of a phone. There is something nice about the opportunity for a do –over; making space for a new memories and new chances.
In today’s shoot it is a chance to rock the dress again, for born again bride Emily, although she loved her day – she wasn’t too enamoured with the shots and this was her chance at resetting a past memory. Lens Queen, Shannon shared:
Armed with some wardrobe, fresh flowers and the desire to go out and have fun, we took over the local Fair to do some Bridal Couture portraits. Emily was such a good sport and chatted with random people who hollered out “Congratulations” to her. Which was almost everyone!
She got married years ago and was less than pleased with her photography so always wanted another go at being the “bride” in a shoot. Shot on a mix of film and digital, I tried to evoke the spirit of fun with some moody shots as it got darker. It was a blast photographing this Bridal Couture session!
Let shutter candy begin!
