Best of the Guest: Just be Cos + Pink Lips

This week is about finding your inner boy,

They make us think of the Mr. Mister song – take these gorgeous wings (in shoe form of course) these lovelies are from Melissa (they smell fantastic too!)

You’ve got to love a gorgeous group of girlies holding up love signs – this beautiful troop for Bridesmaids over on Boho Weddings & Events

It’s all about utilitarian lines and doing what Ciara once sang – being like a boy.  A spurious shanty? Why of course…

Cos, is all about the clean and mean and our outfit choice for today is all about being super cool and considering all the super fine food and the wedding we thought we’d be generous to find you some fancy eating pants and a bit of loose fitting lushness so that you can hide your food baby!  We like the Origami Collar Top andCropped wide leg trousers from Cos.   You can always soften things up with some pretty bling if this look is too hard.the-face

Now, the outfit might be masculine but we are all about a super feminine face be pretty in pink – work those hot pink lips, mamas!

Best of the Guest // Gatsby

This Week it is all about Gatsby inspired guest-ness!

Nothing cuter than kids at wedding especially when they are rocking adorable outfits, we love this image from Ben Blood.  You can see the full shoot right here, in Ben Blood’s Retro//Spective

Oh the shoes, well they are called Cordiana, however we said ‘COR!!!!! Diana!!!’ these rhinestones beauties for you Cowgirls are from a land called Aldo – and we love them!

There is one wedding theme that is going to dominate 2013.  We know that the one-three will be overflowing with 1920’s weddings (and if you need an expert on all that stuff you’d be well advised to check out Love My Dress – Annabel’s Vintage Wedding Book comes out next year too).

Gatsby! From the moment we saw the trailer and heard Frank Ocean’s tones oozing through – we knew that this was going to be the film event of the year, boo for us as it does not come out until May in the UK (Lucky Americans with it coming out at Xmas – so if you feel the need, you might have to rely on Farrow and Redford, instead of Dicaprio and  Mulligan.

So, how do you we get our Gatsby on a good starting point would be this rather amazing dress that we spied on Miss Selfridge, not only does it scream ‘best guest ever’ – it could be a high street alternative for a wedding dress… we love don’t you?

Tuesday Shoesday

Tuesday Shoesday

Shoes glorious shoes, some people like breakfast we like heels!  We’ve all done it we’ve strapped on sky scrapers – and then at quarter past little toe is throbbing, and half past bunion and hammer toe formation we realise that we were terribly remiss and that sage wisdom that our mothers’ gave us about wearing sensible shoes.

Well behold, a visual illusion that will let you wear heels when you really feel like being flat.  Big City Sneakers from Be & D.
